Laurel Winter has written the highly regarded Growing Wings, a science fiction or fantasy book, depending on your perspective on reality.

She is also a poet of some renown, having written "egg horror poem," one of the long-time favorites of science fiction fans everywhere.

Her work has appeared in several collections and she has a World Fantasy Award packed away in a box for her novella "Sky Eyes."

It's packed away in a box because Laurel is traveling, driving across country, flying across the oceans, learning, writing, gaining inspiration.
